Renault ZE Centre
Seguin Island is a territory in its own right. Constructing a 500 m2 building on the island – a drop in the ocean – raises questions about the relevance of a contextual urban approach.
Yet the ZE Pavilion should be a signal. The Renault logo carries within it great potential for the use of volume, which we wanted to explore: a simple vertical modification of the logo brings out the use of volume in movement. The result is a ramp building, with a hybrid architectural shape, since it seems made for people as much as for cars.
