Density is a deliberate commitment that is related to the context. An open site, located between the flow of traffic and people, the “core of the town”. It is a noisy site, not entirely favourable, in its present state, to the creation of a garden. The aim of our project is to use density to create interiority, that very interiority which a garden needs. A garden is a protected space, and this garden will be even more so, as it contains sensitive landscaped and architectural spaces. The trees are used as a membrane and the architecture, taken in the density of the planted areas, constitutes singular, sensitive and reactive bodies.
