Forgotten vines
This project is located in the commune of Saint-Jean-de-la-Blaquière in Hérault, less than 800 metres east of the historic village centre.
The current plot is devoid of any construction. The new building intended for the site's agricultural activities will be located 15 metres away from the paved road, with a main access located to the south-east of the building via a car park that can accommodate 6 parking spaces.
Wine production and storage activities will be accommodated by the building. All the processing and logistics operations, from vinification to the dispatch of the wines, will be brought together on the same site.
Rather than building a fence, the property boundary will be marked by a shrubbery hedge.
The project is made of load-bearing site concrete. The land on the site is reused for the construction itself. Waste is transformed into a resource without loss of performance, using the beige and brown colours of the soil.
The volumes of the building are underlined by a base and a crown forming an acroterion in grey concrete.
The technical spaces related to storage have opaque walls. The administrative spaces are marked on the façade by openings with window frames looking out onto the landscape.
