Body and Sport
There is no passive body.
The visitor is part of it. Either to participate actively in the devices, often involving his whole body or to be in confrontation with the exhibited bodies of the athletes. All the tools are designed on the scale of the body and continuously solicit it. As a stadium, the exhibition is full of light. A white and robust sheet of light gives the identity of the space, creates a ceiling and amplifies the colours.
Projections show the athletes waiting for action, just before a sprint, concentrated in the changing rooms, with their foot on the ball before kick-off, a swimmer ready to dive or a tight archery shooter. These videos present animated gifs. They give the feeling of a suspended time where the extreme tension of concentration before the effort reveals an invisible force.
This "waltz of bodies" identifies an intense landscape of the exhibition. Like a cloud, a set of suspended signs and graphics accompany visitors throughout the sequence.
